Janice Diane Lail Raines, 70, of 121 Mosley Farm Road, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Diane was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on December 1, 1946, a daughter of the late Coy B. Lail and Maggie Pauline Johnson Lail. She was the wife of Jerry Eugene Raines. Mrs. Raines was a retired employee with Sam's Club and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by four daughters, Teresa Nash and her husband, Ed of Wellford, South Carolina; Ruthie Martin and her husband, Steve of Wellford, South Carolina; Kay Easler, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; Lynn Crisp, of Wellford, South Carolina; a son, Eric Gossett of Wellford, South Carolina; a sister, Brenda Hatchett and her husband, Ray of Walnut Grove, South Carolina; a brother, Michael Lail, of Pauline, South Carolina; ten grandchildren, Amber Crisp, Kris Wall, Matt Wall, Dustin Martin, Justin Evans, Andrew Wall, Cody Martin, Taylor Crisp, Mark Nash, Leslie Gowan and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Raines was also predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Gossett; a grandson, William Gossett and a son-in-law, Kelly Easler. A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, South Carolina, at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017, conducted by Mr. Shoan Lail
