Dhrama Louise Gowan Carson, 88, of 901 Lyday Lane, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 , at Rosecrest Retirement Community in Inman, S. C. Mrs. Carson was born in Inman, S.C. on January 31, 1929, a daughter of the late Curtis and Beulah Sentell Gowan and the wife of Caswell Clarmon Carson. She was previously married to the late Charlie W. Wilson. Mrs. Carson was a member of Inman United Methodist Church and had retired from textiles as an office clerk. She was proud to have achieved the title of "Master Gardener".
Surviving in addition to her husband are her three sons, Fred Morgan and his wife Carol of Easley, SC, David Morgan and his wife Susan of Inman, Eddie Morgan, a brother, Bob Gowan and his wife Louise, two sisters, Sue Nation and her husband Fred, and Linda McCombs all of Inman. There are three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Homer, Fred, and Edwin Gowan and one sister, Evelyn Shaw.
A cryptside service will be held this Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum conducted by Rev. Ed Stallworth. The family is at their respective homes.
