Dewis Samuel Robison
Dewis Samuel Robison, 85, of 59 Blackstock Road, Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 13th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr Robison was born in Duncan, SC on April 26, 1927, a son of the late Marie (Dobson) and Toy Robison and was the widower of Martha Julia Waddell Robison. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the state of South Carolina and served in the US Marines.
Dewis is survived by two daughters, Donna Harling, of Anderson, SC, Martha Graham of Florida, a son, Sam Robison, of Duncan, SC, 3 sisters, Leona Hill of Wellford, Peggy Arms of Woodruff, Nellie Bridwell of Greenville, one brother, Benny Robison of Duncan, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev Dan Smetana.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Battered Womens Shelter, PO Box 2914, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at their respective homes.
