Dennis George Poole

Spartanburg, SC--- Dennis George Poole, 69, of 567 Hatchett Rd. passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Born in Spartanburg County on June 20, 1947 he was a son of the late Clarence and Nettie (Bagwell) Poole and was the husband of the late Patsy Elaine (McKinney) Poole. Dennis retired from Douglas Pest Control and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Hope Dominick; two sons, Dennis Ray Poole and James Lee Poole; one brother, Roy Poole; two sisters, Elsie Murdock and Barbara Crowe; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren all of Spartanburg. In addition to his parents and wife he was also predeceased by two brothers, Robert Poole and Junior Poole and three sisters, Carolyn Burgess, Ruby Smith and Thelma Smith.

The family is at the home of his daughter, 1530 Goldmine Rd. Spartanburg, SC 29307 and will receive friends Sunday, July 17, 2016 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the residence. Funeral Services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 18, 2016 with Rev. Danny Easler and Rev. David Bosler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Seawright Funeral Home & Crematory, PO Box 192, Inman, SC 29349.
