On Wednesday morning, October 30, 2024, Deborah Barton Stephenson, 73, of Boiling Springs, SC moved to her Heavenly home. Deborah was a godly wife, mother, Mimi, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend that set an example of love, compassion, and perseverance for all to follow. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Randy Stephenson; her two boys: Jason (Mollie) Stephenson and Barton (Stephanie) Ledford; six grandchildren: Emery and Riggs Stephenson; Luke, Jack, Rayne and Zayden Ledford; brother, Rodney Barton; sister, Michelle (Wesley) Ledford; dog, Maggie Mae; and numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Max “Mackie” Barton; her mother, Sybil Brown Barton; and her father and stepmother, Max and Mildred Barton. Deborah was born, February 3, 1951, in Lafayette, GA, grew up in Trion, GA and lived most of her life in the Spartanburg, SC area. As a full time working mother of her two boys, she spent the majority of her career and retired from various administrative roles at Spartan Foods, Flagstar, and Advantica Restaurant Group. In later years, she devoted herself to God’s word, meticulously tending to her flowers, caring for sweet Maggie Mae, and adoring her grandchildren. She was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home, visitation will follow the service.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made in lieu to Carolina Poodle Rescue, PO Box 1325, Pacolet, SC 29372.
