Deborah Faye Neeley Rhymer, 56, of 114 Boardwalk Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 at Greer Rehab and Health Center in Greer, SC after a courageous battle with cancer. Deborah was born in Big Stone Gap, Virginia on March 5, 1960, a daughter of the late Ella Ruth (Tritt) Neeley and Willie Gibbs McAdoo - Neeley. She was a graduate of Powell Valley High School and Steed College. She worked many years for GNC and attended Hope Church. Deborah enjoyed fishing as a hobby and was an avid cat lover since childhood.
Deborah is survived by a daughter, Brittany, a sister, Barbara Fig, of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Donny Neeley (Vicki), of Mt. Carmel, TN., one granddaughter, Talia Faye, whom she dearly loved, three nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by a brother Tony Neeley. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 18th, with Rev. Jan King officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in East Stone Gap, Virginia. Deborah so appreciated her church family and several special friends, especially Helen, Angela and her neighbor Steve.
