Davie Kevin Fortner

Davie Kevin Fortner, 51, of Inman, SC, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St Francis Downtown, Greenville. 

Davie was born in Spartanburg, SC on January 26, 1972, a son of the late Judy Gail Triado and Vernon  Fortner. He was the husband of Leanne Fortner. He is survived by three daughters: Raegan Hanna, Makell Hanna, Jayda Ashba (Gunner), a son, Davie Fortner, Jr. (Chloe), four grandchildren: Gavin Simpson, Skyla Fortner, Avery Simpson, and Gunnur Fortner. He has one sister Penny Richards (Jamie) and a brother Todd Fortner (Kim), and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a grandson,Greyson Simpson.  Davie was a Carolina Gamecock fan and worked as an electrician at Link Electric in Spartanburg.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday 8/20/2023 at Lyman First Baptist Church with Rev Danny Easler officiating.
