David Charles Tucker, 65, of 23 Jordan Street, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at his residence. Mr. Tucker was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 8, 1952, a son of the late Charles Noah Tucker and Mary Lois Johnson Tucker. He was the widower of Mary Louise "Weezie" Rhymer Tucker. David was a former employee of Phillips Fibers and most recently with the Trelleborg Group in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Mr. Tucker was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church and a former member of the Arcadia Masonic Lodge.
David is survived by a daughter, Mindy Janine Tucker; two sons Davie Otis Tucker and his wife, Mandy; Michael Joe Stevens, all of Inman, South Carolina; four brothers, Ricky Tucker and his wife, Carolyn; Kenny Tucker; Tim Tucker and his wife, Anna; Mike Tucker and his wife, Cathy E.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Tucker was predeceased by a grandson, Levey Ryder Stevens.
Visitation will be held, Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 22, 2018, conducted by, Rev. Joe White. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Inman, South Carolina. The family is at the residence.
The following will serve as pallbearers: David Emon, Tony Rowland, Shane Ballew, Shep McArthur, Shon Wise and Rusty May.
