David Glenn Teague, Sr., 86, of 7 D Street Inman, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Born in Inman, SC on October 23, 1932, he was a son of the late David Monroe and Lillie Mae (Henderson) Teague and was the loving husband of Nancy (Price) Teague having celebrated 67 years of marriage.
Mr. Teague was a graduate of Inman High School, worked at Inman Mills for many years and later retired from Startex Mill. David was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and was a founding member of the Lake Cooley Bass Club.
In addition to his wife Nancy, he is also survived by one daughter, Peggy Teague Hall and her husband Wayne of Inman, South Carolina; one son, David Glenn Teague, Jr. and his wife Robbie of Wellford, South Carolina; one sister, Sylvia Babb and her husband Paul of Inman, South Carolina and two grandchildren, David Andrew Teague and Nielson David Teague and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two daughters, Susan Elaine Teague and Vickie Teague Hice; two brothers, Bobby Teague and Richard Teague and two sisters, Shirley Deyoung and Ethel Cothran.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Todd Johnson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 701 Grove Road, ISC-3rd Floor Greenville, SC 29605.
The family of Mr. Teague would like to especially thank Paul and Sylvia Babb and the nurses on the 8th Tower at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for all their love and care given to Mr. Teague. The family is at the home.
