David Charles Rowland

David Charles Rowland, 77, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 6, 1944, he was a son of the late Myrtle (Slaton) Rowland and Hearl B. Rowland and was the husband of the late Carol Jane (Kennel) Rowland. He was also predeceased by one sister, Rebecca Rowland.
Mr. Rowland served in the United States Army, retired as a courier and was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg.
He is survived by one son, Tony Rowland and his wife Nicole; one daughter, Teresa Rowland; one brother, Phil Rowland and his wife Joan and four grandchildren, Sidney Rowland, Anneliese Grenier, Isabella Grenier and Maria Grenier.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at First Baptist North Spartanburg.
A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM at First Baptist North Spartanburg with Rev. Dwayne Morris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David Rowland Memorial Fund, C/O Seawright Funeral Home, PO Box 192, Inman, SC 29349.
