David Dale Nelson, 66, of 9475 Highway 9 Campobello, SC, passed away Wednesday, May 31st, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
David was born in Joliet, Illinois on July 6, 1950, a son of Delores Columbus Nelson, of Mesa, Arizona and the late Dale Nelson. He was the husband of Sharon Paskiet Nelson of the home.
He worked as a laborer with Local 75 in Joliet, Illinois and attended White Hall Independent Methodist Church in Inman, SC. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters; Denise and Dennett, both of Arizona, a step daughter; Tammy Geisse of Joliet, Illinois, and a step son; Jeffery Richardson of Morris, Illinois.
A memorial service will be held at White Hall Independent Methodist Church, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 17th, with Rev. Johnny Jackson officiating.
