David Marshall Green, Jr., 24, of 120 Cothran Road, Inman died Friday, May 24, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born May 14, 1989 in Spartanburg, a son of David M. Green, Sr. and Kim Hall Kirtsey. He was a 2006 graduate of Chapman High School and had attended Spartanburg Community College. He was an employee of Great American Paper and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather; Tony Kirtsey of Inman; his stepmother, Laura Green of Inman; his sister, Nicole McRae of Inman; his step brother, Dusten Jones of Ft. Campbell, KY; three step sisters, Haley Jones of Inman, Nikki Kirtsey of Norfolk, VA, Leslie Kaczmarczyk of Boiling Springs; a nephew, Hudsen Jones of Inman; his maternal grandmother, Vickie Hall of Spartanburg; and his paternal grandparents, Glenn and Juanita Blackwell of Shreveport, LA.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Chuck Davis. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends 2:00 until 3:00 PM Tuesday at Seawright Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to David M. Pallbearers for his service will be Tanner Williams, Caleb Marlow, Dusten Jones, Justin Seekford, Andrew Greenway, Jamie Shipman, J. Kyle Brown and Justin Comer.
