David Randolph Geier, 59, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away, Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Ridgewood, New Jersey, David was born on May 21, 1959, a son of the late Herbert Franklin Geier, Jr. and Nancy Lou Wilson Geier. He was the husband of Susan Denton Geier. David was a retired mechanic at Sport Cycle. In addition to his wife, David is survived by two step sons, Robert Samuel Garmany, III, and his wife, Meghan of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; William Lee Garmany, and his wife, Kim of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; a brother, Dean Franklin Geier, and his wife, Lynn of Mill Spring, North Carolina. He is also survived by two grandsons, Will Garmany, Jr. and Hunter Logan Garmany. In lieu of flowers, the family ask all memorials be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, INC. 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303.
