David Earl Bishop

David Earl Bishop, 74, of Wellford, SC, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Upstate Community Hospice Home.

David was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 31, 1951, a son of the late Shirley Ann (Koon) and Carl Thomas Bishop. He was the widower of Patsy Jane (Solesbee) Bishop.

David is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Marie Bishop; a son,Travis David Bishop (Jessica); a granddaughter, Emily Bishop; a sister Lillie Huntsinger (Terry Wayne). He was predeceased by, a brother, Danny Bishop and a sister, Ruth Bishop.

He was retired from Hayssen Manufacturing and was a member of Little Mountain Baptist Church.

The family will gather with family and friends at the home, on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 12:00 until 2:00 PM.
