Mr. Darren Ray Thompson, 41, of 108 Clark Hill Drive went home to be with his Lord Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 and is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Mr. Thompson was born in Greer, SC on September 18, 1968, the son of Donnie and Julie Neves Thompson of Inman. He is also survived by his loving wife Beth Hester Thompson and a brother Joe Thompson of Williamston, SC.
He worked for Thompson Bros. Extermination Company and was a member of Motlow Creek Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 3rd, 2010 in the sanctuary of Motlow Creek Baptist Church from 7 to 8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Motlow Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Rainey, Rev. George Case, and Mr. Ray Eugene Neves officiating. Pallbearers will be Craig Haynes, Shelton Taylor, Shane Wood, Greg Manganelli, and Mark and Phillip Case.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the home of Donnie and Julie Thompson, 108 Clark Hill Dr., Inman, SC 29349
