Danny Lister

Inman, SC--- Danny Lister, 68, of 58 Lyman Hwy. Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Golden Age Nursing Home in Inman, SC. Born in Spartanburg, SC on January 23, 1947,he was a son of the late Roy and Jeanette (Ballew) Lister.
Danny served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and was a graduate of USC where he received his degree in accounting. After college he became self-employed as the owner/operator of Lister Research Corporation.
Danny is survived by a son, Chad Lister; two grandchildren, D.J. Lister and Savannah Lister all of Moore, SC; a brother, Reverend Doctor Ken Lister of Fort Mill, SC; two nieces, Kim Lister and Amy Lister both of Charlotte, NC and his life long companion, Martha Lister of Spartanburg, SC.
A memorial service will be held in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2015 with Reverend Doctor Ken Lister officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rutherford County Honor Guard will provide full Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
