Danny Calvin Johnson, 72, of Campobello, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Danny was born in Campobello, SC on March 26, 1949, a son of the late, Williard and Bertha (Pruitt) Johnson. He was the husband of Joyce (Hines) Johnson for 46 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; David Johnson (Michelle), Ricky Johnson (Leigh), Daniel Johnson (Lisa), Starr Johnson Chastain (Jamie); grandchildren, Zach, Noah, Brandon, and Blake Johnson, Jacob Morris (Savanna), and Nicco Chastain; brothers, Jimmy Ballew (Samone), Boyce Johnson (Teresa), Joe Johnson (Carolyn), Fred Johnson (Judy); his sister, Jane Lance (Marty); Several special nieces and nephews; and his furbuddy Baby Dog.
Danny worked at Mascot Homes for 40 years where he retired as a supervisor and was a member of Dependent Baptist Church.
Visitation will be at Seawright Funeral Home Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at Dependent Baptist Church 791 Windmill Hill Road, Inman,SC Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Joe Geddes and Dr. John Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
