Dallas O'Neil Huggins
Dallas O'Neil Huggins, 77, of Inman died Monday, February 11, 2008 at the Regional Hospice House in Spartanburg, S. C. He was born in Spartanburg on June 27, 1930 and was the son of the late Josiah and Anna Elizabeth Corn Huggins and the widower of Levallion Suddeth Sherbert Huggins.
He was a member of the Inman First Free Will Baptist Church and had retired from Inman Mills-Saybrook Plant. He was a U. S. Marine Veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Craine of Lake City, S. C. , a step-daughter, Myrtle Gregory of Inman, step son, Jess Sherbert and his wife Barbara of Spartanburg, two sisters, Vavaneen Lewis of Lexington, N. C., Lillian Zufelt of Pinetta, Florida and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Rosa Westbrook and four brothers, Emmanuel, Melvin, A. Z. and Iman Huggins.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 P. M. Wed. Feb. 13,2008 in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, S. C. with Rev. Skip Snyder conducting the service. The family will receive friends immediately after the service at graveside. The family will be at their respective homes.
