Curtis Eugene Broyles

Curtis Eugene Broyles, 87, Columbus, NC, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014. Born in Welch, OK on October 25, 1926, he was the son of the late Donald Charley and Emma LuVina (McBee) Broyles and was the husband of Mrs. Roberta Eloise (Perry) Broyles. Mr. Broyles served as a Merchant Marine and worked as a production supervisor for General Motors. He was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four children, Butch Broyles (Janice) of Greenville, SC, Sue King-Kennedy (Don) of Plano, TX, Rusty Broyles (Shelly) of Virginia and Nancy Klouda (Greg) of Landrum, SC, two brothers, Donald Broyles of Oklahoma and Robert Broyles of Lakewood, CA, one sister, Ethel DeShazer of Miami, OK along with 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Allen Broyles and Gary Broyles.
Graveside services will be held at Sandy Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 8th, with Rev. Phil Bailey officiating.
