Corrine Shields

Spartanburg, SC--- Corrine Kimbrell Shields, 94, of 250 Hudson Barksdale Dr. passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at White Oak Manor of Spartanburg. Born in Spartanburg County on December 13, 1920, she was a daughter of the late William S. and Fannie (Frasier) Kimbrell and was the wife of the late Ray A. Shields. She was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and retired from retail sales. She is survived by four children, Arlene Fowler Hipps and her husband Clayton of Campbello, SC, Carroll R. Shields and his wife Cathy of Spartanburg, SC, Linda S. Varner and her husband Ray of Campobello, SC and Jack R. Shields of Spartanburg, SC along with 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Frances Algaier, and one sister, Edna Hopper. The family will receive friends on Monday February 23, 2015 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Hames officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
