Clyde Jefferson Rogers, 81, of Inman, SC, passed away Sunday, October 18th 2015, at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Clyde was born in Spartanburg, SC on April 22, 1934, a son of the late Clyde and Nancy Jane Rogers and the husband of Loretta Rogers. He was a retired electrician with Leigh Fibers and J. Frank Blakely Electrical Contractors. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and an assistant Scout Master with BSA Troop 26 in Inman.
Other survivors include a son, Matt Rogers, a daughter, Patty Linton (Rickey) all of Inman, a sister Edna Cooksey (Buck) of Spartanburg, two grandchildren, John and Kayla Linton and a great grandchild, Layla Stott. Mr. Rogers was predeceased by a daughter, Ginger West, an infant son, Eric Rogers and a brother Dennis Rogers.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church from 5 to 6:45 PM. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM conducted by Dr. David Duncan and Rev. Daniel Duncan. The burial will be Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. The family will be at 571 Windmill Hill Rd., Inman, SC.
