Cletus E Gibbs

Cletus Eugene Gibbs, 80, of 5 Merrimon Ave in Boiling Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Regional Hospice Home.

Cletus was born in Spartanburg on August 28, 1945, a son of the late Marie Reynolds Gibbs and Roy Gibbs. He was the widower of Donna Fowler Gibbs having celebrated 60 years of marriage before her death. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway.

He is survived by a daughter; Kim Stephens of Boiling Springs, two grandsons; Alex Gibbs and his wife Anna, and Andrew Stephens and his wife Taylor, one granddaughter; Jordan McCraw, five great grandchildren; Emerson Gibbs, Boone Gibbs, Price Gibbs, Jackson McCraw, Jorgia McCraw, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family is at the home and will receive friends 1:00 until 2:00 Saturday, May 16th, 2026.

Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 16th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38101-2151.
