Inman, SC---Mrs. Clemmie Peeler Mahaffey of 200 Fortress Drive, Inman passed away Tuesday, December 9th, 2008 at Rosecrest Retirement Community.
Mrs. Mahaffey was born in Columbus, NC to the late Ellis and Lula (Norman) Peeler. She was the widow of Elliot Mahaffey, a homemaker and a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
The family is at 10218 Asheville Hwy, Inman and will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Reggie Parker, Rev Donnan Lawson, and Rev. David Kite officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holston Creek Baptist Church Sanctuary Fund, 311 Holston Creek Church Rd, Inman, SC 29349 or Rosecrest Retirement Community Activity Fund, 200 Fortress Dr., Inman, SC 29349.
