Clara Mae Parris

Clara Mae Lawson Parris, 89, of 82 North Main Street Inman, formerly of 318 Sunset Circle, Spartanburg died Thursday, June 21st, 2007 at Golden Age in Inman

Mrs Parris was born in Union, S. C. on September 9, 1917, the daughter of the late Robert Glenn and Clara Mae Lawson.
She is survived by three daughters: Betty Darby and husband Johnny of Spartanburg, Kay Whitlock and husband John of Inman, Cindy Suttles of Spartanburg, three sons: Hoyt Parris and wife Pat of Radford, VA, Wyman Parris and wife Carolyn of Lyman, Glenn Parris and wife Sandra of Lyman, 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter: Linda Butts.
She was formerly employed at Startex Mills and retired from Butte Knit and was a member of Care Baptist Church, Spartanburg..

Funeral services will be held at Care Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 24th, with Rev. Mike Cooke and Rev. David Slaton officiating.

Burial will be in Wood Memorial Park,Duncan,S.C.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Saturday 6-8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
