Claire Jeanette Cook, 71, of 123 Burnett Road, Inman, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Claire was born in Anderson, South Carolina on February 16, 1953, a daughter of the late Margaret Frances Williams Hall and Lawrence Whitfield Hall and was the wife of Jimmy Cook.
She worked as a schoolteacher, had a home cleaning business, and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg where she had been active in the choir.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two sons, Benjamin Cook (Jessica) of Chesnee, Matthew Cook (Chelsea) of Chesnee, two stepdaughters, Jennifer Worley (Dennis) of Boiling Springs, Jessica Cook of Inman, a brother, Warren Hall (Colleen) of Greer, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 7th at Seawright Funeral Home conducted by Dr. Michael Hamlet. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home
Private interment will follow the service in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
