Christine Elizabeth Cannon

Christine Elizabeth (Tweed) Cannon, 91, passed away Saturday, May 17th, at Valley Falls Terrace. Mrs. Cannon was born in Spartanburg, SC and was a daughter of the late Everette and Bernice Dillard Tweed. She was the widow of Henry Oliver Cannon, II. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Denton, of Campobello, Mary Lazano, of TN., two sons, Buddy Cannon, of Moore, Tom Cannon, of Easley, two sisters, Faye Henderson of Spartanburg, Marion Bellew of Inman, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 19, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg conducted by Rev Stephen Cannon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either: New Life Nicaragua, 104 Beechwood Dr., Inman, SC 29349 or to Cedar Shoals Baptist Church, 220 Cedar Shoals Church Rd., Enoree, SC 29335.
