Charles Franklin Turner

Charles Franklin Turner, born November 6, 1938, in Polk County, North Carolina, passed away at his home in Inman, South Carolina on Friday, April 28. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise G.Turner. He had a career with Allstate Insurance, but the loves of his life were his wife, children, and grandchildren. He graduated from USC - Upstate and was a member of First Baptist Church Inman. Charles was an avid supporter of the South Carolina Gamecocks and was happiest spending time with his family on the lake.
He was predeceased by parents Thomas and Gertrude, sisters, Durell Scruggs, Ersell Strange, Wilma Bryant, Joann Cecil, Joyce Evington, and brothers, Paul and Joe Urbane. Along with his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Turner-Watts (Ken), a son, C. Scott Turner, and grandchildren, Alex Scott Turner (Savannah) and Mallory Turner-Scruggs (Jacob).
The family will receive friends Monday, May 1, 2023 from 2:00 - 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Dr. Paul Moore. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Inman First Baptist Church, 14 N. Howard Street, Inman, South Carolina  29349.
