Campobello, SC---Charles Everette Morris, 77, of 1335 North Pacolet Road, Campobello, SC passed away Saturday, January 28th, peacefully, at his residence.
Mr Morris was born in Campobello, SC on September 21, 1934, a son of the late Othella (Bishop) and Kyle Morris and was the husband of Peggy (Raines) Morris.
Mr. Morris retired from Bi-lo as a truck driver and was formerly employed at Milliken Chemical for over 20 years and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He was a member of the Inman Masonic Lodge #201, a Shriner and a 32nd degree Scottish Rites Free Mason and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Morris, of Inman; a son, Chad Morris and his wife Michelle of Inman; a sister, Carolyn Brown and her husband Jones of Inman; two brothers, Dale Morris and his wife Earline of Nashville, TN; Robert Morris and his wife Terri of Kennesaw, GA; four grandchildren, Meg Bullington, Christian Henderson, Grace Morris, Matthew Morris and one great grandson, Ethan Bullington, all of Inman.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will be performed at 5:45 PM.
Funeral services will be held at New Prospect Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 30th, with Dr Ron Gaddy officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC.
