Charles Neal Metcalf, 58, of 291 Canady Road, Wellford, SC, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at his home. Neal was born in Spartanburg, SC on May 20, 1956, a son of Talmadge Metcalf, of Inman and the late Margaret (Raines) Metcalf. He was formerly employed at Springs Industries and was an active and faithful member of Milestone Church in Spartanburg. In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter, Hannah Metcalf, of the home and a sister, Maurine King, of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by two brothers, Phillip and Julian Metcalf. He proudly served aboard the USS Eagle in the United States Coast Guard. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 — 3:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the funeral chapel at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 15th, with Rev Hub Blankenship officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 or Milestone Church, 885 Simuel Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
