Charles Cornell Keller
Charles Cornell Keller, 81, of 295 East Pearl Street, Spartanburg, SC, formerly of New Cut Road, Inman passed away Friday, September 6th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr Keller was born in Cherokee County, SC on July 31, 1932, a son of the late Teetie Maude (Burnett) Keller and Arthur Gene Keller, was the widower of Joyce Elizabeth (Ballenger) Keller, and was owner and operator of Keller Metal Fabrications. Mr Keller was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Moose Lodge in La Grange, GA. He was a graduate of Cecil's Business College and was member of Inman First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Co-ed Sunday School Class and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War.
Cornell is survived by three sons, Chuck Keller, (Cyndi) of Inman; Keith Keller (Mary), of Inman; Todd Keller (Debbie), of Inman. Charles is also survived by two sisters, Frances Atkins (Ronnie) of Inman; Erana Carrier (Bill) of Kannapolis, NC; a brother, Bobby Keller of Spartanburg, six grandchildren, Lenn Cogle (Elena) Zaragoza, Spain, Brandi Bridges (Joel) of Inman, Connie Talbert (Chris) of LaFayette, Ga., Kevin Keller (Shannon) of Wellford, Nickie Sparrow (Josh) of Greenwood, Amy Keller (Richard Hoats) of Charleston, SC and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by nine siblings. The family is at 115 Middlebrook Lane, Wellford and will receive friends Sunday 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, with Dr. Paul Moore and Dr Phil Cooley officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Keller, Tim Atkins, Patrick Adams, Grady Green, Jimi Green, Timothy Hyder, Joshua Hyder, and Cody Vaughn. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 North West 9th Ave., Bob Hope Road, Miami, FL 33136.
