Charles "Chuck" Gowan

Charles "Chuck" Gowan, 56, of 20 Boxelder Ct. passed away Sunday, February 26th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Gowan was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 19, 1955, a son of James Edgar and Ruby Splawn Gowan of the home. He was the husband of Cherry Jeanette (Kelley) Gowan and worked as an electrician. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
He is also survived by a daughter, Sunshine, wife of Chad Seay, of Spartanburg, SC; three sons Pasco Gowan and his fiancee' Brandi, of Inman; Adam, husband of Leslie Gowan, of Inman; and Charles Stewart, two sisters, Sherry, wife of John Elchisco, of Gaffney; Sandy, wife of Charles McGraw, of Spartanburg; two brothers, Benny Gowan, of Campobello; Chris, husband of Kathy Gowan, of Campobello; and six grandchildren: Samantha, Tori, Zack, Kyli, Cameron and Caitlyn.
A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM this Tuesday, February 28th at the home. An online guest register is available at: www.seawright-funeralhome.com
