Charles F. Dover

Charles F. Dover, 83, of Boiling Springs, South Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum, South Carolina.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina on May 11, 1941, he was a son of the late Bertie (Rochester) Dover and was the husband of the late Jean Anne (Jewell) Dover.

Mr. Dover served in the United States Air Force for 8 years, retired from Spartanburg Steel and was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynda Schantz and her husband Alan; son, Charles Russell "Rusty" Dover and his wife Lisa; five grandchildren, Tyler Dover and his wife Kristina, Chandler Dover, Noland Dover and his wife Sarah, Kylie Valva and her husband Anthony and Meagan Haughey and her husband Will along with four great grandchildren, Brantley Dover, Georgia Haughey, Hayes Haughey and Adalynn Dover.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park in Spartanburg, South Carolina with Dr. Michael Hamlet and Rev. Tyler Dover officiating and Military Honors provided by Boiling Springs Post 200. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
