Charles Wayne Clair, 88, of 295 E. Pearl St. , passed away Monday, February 22, 2016, at White Oak Manor. Charles was born in Blue Rapids, Kansas on February 15, 1928, a son of the late Randolph and Dorothy Marie Anderson Clair. He served in the United States Navy and Marines during WW II. and was a retired employee of Progressive Lighting. Mr. Clair was first married to the late Betty Davis Clair.
Charles is survived by a son, Randy Clair and his wife Kay of Cowpens, South Carolina; a grandson, Jeremy Clair of Cowpens, South Carolina; a granddaughter, Amanda Clark and her husband John of Bennettsville, South Carolina; four great grandchildren, Taylor, Nathan, Kaylie and Lilly Grace.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC . 29304.
