Catherine Hembree Walker

Catherine Hembree Walker, 72, of 217 Homer Johnson Ct. passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her residence. Born in Polk County, NC on December 16, 1945, a daughter of the late Jeff and Irene (Scoggins) Hembree and was the wife of Johnny Ray Walker having celebrated 51 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two daughters, Rhonda Trainor (David) of Lyman, SC and Kelly Kisner (Andy) of Florida; one brother, Johnny Hembree of Landrum, SC; five sisters, Martha Rhodes of Asheville, NC, Georgiana Bilbrey of Lynn, NC, Mary Lou Forrester of Morganton, NC, Rachel Bruce of Columbus, NC and Janice Worthington of Columbus, NC along with four grandchildren, Donald Ray Brenner, Delaney Page Wyatt, Jordan Shayne Wyatt and Gabriel Brett Wyatt and one great grandchild, Jacob Bennett Seymore. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by three siblings, Russell Hembree, Darlene Hembree and Carl Jean Page. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ed Stallworth officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
