Mrs. Catherine Cox Smith, 79, of 15 E Street Inman, SC passed away Thursday, June 12th, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Smith was born in Boyton, VA on July 21, 1928, the daughter of the late Will J. and Cora Vivian (Tollison) Cox. She was the widow of James Smith, retired from Inman Mills and was a member of Moore Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sisters: Grace Collins and Bessie Hall both of Inman, one brother: James Oliver Cox of Florida. She was predeceased by a daughter: Linda Diane Smith, one sister: Myrtle Boyter, and two brothers: A.W. and Charlie Cox.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Moore Church of Christ Cemetery,2798 Moore-Duncan Hwy. Moore, SC, at 11 :00 AM on Saturday, June 14th, with Rev. Randy Lawless officiating.
Burial will be in Moore Church of Christ Cemetery.
The family is at the home of her sister, Grace Collins, lOG Street, Inman and will receive friends Saturday 10-11 AM at Moore Church of Christ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Inman Community Fire Dept. P. O. Box 955, Inman, S. C. 29349
