Catherine Jackson Morris

Catherine Verna Jackson Morris, 80, of 230 Chapman Road, passed away Thursday,  April 11, 2024. Born June 30, 1943, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Elmore and Susan Luzetty Ezell Jackson. She was the wife of James Harold Morris. Catherine was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church of Inman and retired from Discount Auto of Boiling Springs.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Glenn Morris (Melissa) and Dennis Morris. Her four grandchildren, Hunter Smith (Dustin), Drew Morris, Jenna Worley (Austin), and Caleb Morris and five great grandchildren Connor, Lincoln, James, Larklynn and Reese, who were her babies, which she spoiled any chance she could. Her brothers, Larry Jackson (Wanda), Jimmy Jackson (Veena), Billy Jackson (Ellen), and Roger Jackson; and sisters; Lillian Stacey and Carol Miller. She was predeceased by her son, Lanny Morris, her brothers, Garland Jackson, Ralph Jackson, and Hollis Jackson; and sisters, Ruby Foster and Girlee Pruitt. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Rock Hill Baptist Church of Inman conducted by the Rev. Billy Rice and Rev. Monty King. Visitation will be held immediately following the funeral service at the church. The family is at the home of her son, Glenn Morris, 241 Chapman Road, Inman.
