Mrs. Catherine Edens Collins, 82, of 3791 Clark Road, Boiling Springs died Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Collins was born in Pickens on January 23, 1928, the daughter of the late Edgeworth and Eurobelle Edens. She was the widow of George H. Collins and had worked as a professional tailor. She was a southern baptist.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Grant of Myrtle Beach, Linda Thornton of Boiling Springs, two brothers, Thomas Edens of Pickens, John Edens of Dearborn, Mi., a sister, Margaret Jones of Pickens, and a number of grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a daughter Joanne Ingram.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Sunday, February 7, 2009, 1:00-2:00pm at Seawright Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel.
