Caswell Clarmon Carson

Caswell Clarmon Carson, 94, of 901 Lyday Lane, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home. Mr Carson was born in Mooresville, NC on December 11, 1923, and was a son of the late John Van and Minnie Kimmons Carson. He was the widower of Dhrama Louise (Gowan) Carson and was a longtime member of Inman United Methodist Church. Mr. Carson served his country in the US Army Air Corp during WW II and was a member of the American Legion Post #45 in Inman. He had retired from Duke Energy.
He is survived by three step sons: Fred Morgan and his wife Carol of Easley, SC; David Morgan and his wife Susan of Inman, SC; and Eddie Morgan. He was predeceased by a son, David Carson and a brother John M. Carson.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 21, 2018 in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC with Rev. Ed Stallworth officiating. The family will be at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Inman United Methodist Church, 27 Bishop St., Inman, SC 29349.
