Cassie Ann Reid
Cassie Ann Ochiltree Reid, 89, of 8 Outter Dr. passed away Wednesday, December 12th, 2007 at Regional Hospice House in Spartan burg. Born in Buffalo, S. C., on March 1, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Robert Garland and Rosa Lee McCreight Ochiltree and the widow of George Washington Reid.
Mrs. Reid was a member of Inman United Methodist Church and had retired from Camp Haven Nursing Home as a nursing assistant.
She is survived by three sons, Jack Douglas Reid of Inman, Tony Eugene Reid and his wife Marie of Duncan, and Jerry Dean Reid of Union, one granddaughter, Marie Rhinehart and her husband Paul of Union and her faithful dachshund , "Susie". She was predeceased by three brothers, Gary, David and Oliver Ochiltree and three sisters, Geneva Switzer Johnson, Francis Emmett, and Margaret Ann Jay. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:00 P. M. at the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. David Caughman. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 :00 to 2:00 P. M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wood Memorial Park in Duncan, S. C. The family is at their respective homes.
