Carolyn Weathers, 71, of 10174 Beach Drive SW Calabash, NC, and formerly of Pacolet, SC passed away Wednesday, November 7th, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Carolyn was born in Spartanburg on April 22, 1947, a daughter of the late Catherine Griffin Greene Howard and Fred Greene. She was the widow of Wilbur Fay Weathers.
She had retired from Nestle's of Gaffney. Carolyn was a loving mom, an awesome cook and was a lady who also loved shopping; especially shopping with the Home Shopping Network and QVC, during of course while enjoying her almond joy candy bars; and was always thrilled to watch her grandson, Jacob, competing in his rodeo events. She loved spending time at the beach with friends and family. She will be dearly missed by them all.
She is survived by two sons; Travis McGinn and Allen McGinn, both of Boiling Springs, a stepson; Larry Weathers of Fairforest, a stepdaughter; Joann Caldwell of Mount Pleasant, seven grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a stepdaughter, Irene Case. The family will have a private service .
