Carolyn Jean Thompson

Carolyn Jean Thompson, 78, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Spartanburg Medical Center. 

Carolyn was born in Spartanburg, SC on August 7, 1945, a daughter of the late Janet (Newell) Walker and John Perry Walker.  She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Pruitt (Todd), a granddaughter, Jenna Pruitt and a grandson, Wilson Pruitt, four nieces,Teresa Chandler (Mitch), Cyndi Stephens (Allen), Lynn Dutton, and Sherrie Stoffer (Michael), a nephew, Allen Dutton and a very special friend John Dudley.  She was predeceased by a sister Patti Burton (Junior), a grandson Walker Pruitt and a granddaughter Morgan Pruitt. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
