Mrs. Carolyn (Tomama) Foster Hembree
Inman, SC---Mrs. Carolyn (Tomama)Foster Hembree, 85, of 1231 Campton Rd. Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 24th, 2008.
Mrs. Hembree was born in Spartanburg County on November 4, 1922, the daughter of the late William Perry and Effie (Turner) Foster. She was the wife of the Grady L. Hembree for 64 years and was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley H. Foster of Inman and Vicki H. Steadman and her husband Joe of Inman, Three Grandchildren Brandi P. Simmons and her husband Ed of Inman, Jessica C. Steadman of Greenville, SC , J. Patrick Steadman and his wife Veronica of Columbus, GA., Two great grandchildren, Elizabeth M. Simmons and J. Preston Steadman.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 26th, with Dr. Michael Hamlet officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home her daughter, Shirley Foster, 10151 Asheville Hwy. Inman and will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
