Carolyn Mabry Blackwell

Carolyn Mabry Blackwell, 72, of 257 Caston Circle, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, December 29th, 2014 at the Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Carolyn was born in Cowpens, SC on October 10, 1942, and was a daughter of the late Albert and Edna Sally Spencer Mabry. She was the widow of the late James Dupre Blackwell and was a Christian. She was a lifetime, faithful member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC for over 60 years. She had retired from the Hoechst Celanese Corp after 23 years of service and also Toledo Scales for 13 years. She is survived by three sons: Kevin Blackwell and his wife Sandy of Inman, SC, Terry Blackwell of Spartanburg, SC, Dale Blackwell of Boiling Springs, SC, two brothers, Dennis and Roy Mabry both of Cowpens, SC, a sister, Helen Price of Laurens, SC and four grandchildren, Tara, Clint, Lillie and Emily Blackwell. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in Mt. View Baptist Church Sanctuary in Cowpens, SC with the services following at 2:00 PM conducted by Rev.
