Carol Jean Hand Greene, 49, of 1009 Pine Street, Piedmont, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at her home. Carol was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 25, 1969, a daughter of Thelma Jean (Hand) Ellenburg, of Inman and Ned Carroll Chapman, of Spartanburg. She was the wife of Curtis David Greene, was employed at Check In To Cash in Taylors, SC and was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Geargoyles Car Club.
In additiion to her husband and parents, Carol is survived by two daughters, Torie D Stanley (Ryan), of Spartanburg; Marissa L Greene, of Inman; a brother, David Hand (Kim), of Boiling Springs, one grandson, Easton Stanley and a special friend, Gerrie Jefferson of Greer.
The family is at her home and will receive friends Friday, December 7, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 8th at the Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev David Allen officiating. Burial will be in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Woodruff, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
