Carlos Martinez, 62, of 203 N. Main Street, Campobello passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A beloved husband and father; a good and working man; and most of all, caring, attentive, and protective. Carlos was born in Durango, Mexico on March 2, 1951, a son of the late Consuelo Fuentes and Margarito Martinez. He was the husband of Erminia Romero Gonzalez of the home. He retired from construction and attended Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Abel and two brothers in Mexico. A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 26th, 2014 with Dr. Hank Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carlos Martinez Fund c/o Seawright Funeral Home PO Box 192, Inman, SC 29349.
