Carl Wayne Collins, 77, of 6 E Street in Inman, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at his home.
Carl was born in Spartanburg on April 5, 1944, a son of the late Lois Shelton Collins and Carl Blaine Collins and was the husband of Cathy Ann Carruthers Collins of the home.
He retired from Collins Moving and Storage as Executive VP and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by three sons; Steven Wayne Collins and his wife Sheila of Inman, Timothy Ray Collins and his wife Tiffany of Roebuck, Mark Allen Collins of Inman, a daughter; Robin Ann Collins of Inman, four brothers; Ray Collins of Inman, Ronnie Collins of Olney, MD, Bruce Collins of Inman, Donnie Collins of Inman, two sisters; Sandy Brzowski of Sarasota, FL, Barbara Switzer of Roebuck, four grandchildren; Landon Collins, Lauren Moore, Cameron Collins, Chloe Collins, and one great grandson; Bennett Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 5th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman with Rev. Wesley Campbell officiating. The family is at his home and will receive friends following the service at the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Care Hospice Care, 110 Dillon Dr, Spartanburg, S.C. 29307 or American Legion Post #45 in Inman.
