Carl Manning Bishop, 89, of 223 Rainbow Circle, Inman, South Carolina passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at his home.
Carl was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on October 25, 1932, a son of the late Pearl (Loftis) Bishop and Grady Oliver Bishop. He was the husband of Hazel (Varner) Bishop. He retired from Kohler-Corp and was a Shriner and a Mason.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Solid Rock Church in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by three sons, Steven Bishop and his wife, Sandra, of Severna Park, Maryland; Mark Bishop and his wife, Pam, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Joey Bishop and his wife, Anne, of Central, South Carolina; a brother, Grady O. Bishop, Jr., of Spartanburg, South Carolina, eight grandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Molly, Lucy, Alice, Amy, David and Lauren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Gayle.
