Bryan Edward Johnson, 69, of 6570 New Cut Rd., passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Rosecrest Retirement Community in Inman, SC. Bryan was born in Spartanburg, SC on March 28, 1948, and was a son of the late Homer Lee and Doris Blackwell Johnson. He was member of the Gramling United Methodist Church and a farmer and land developer. He faithfully served as a Commissioner for the Spartanburg Soil Conservation District for 28 years and the Army National Guard.
He is survived by two brothers, Bruce Johnson and his wife Kris of Inman, SC, Brad Johnson and his wife Debbie of Campobello, SC. and several nieces and nephews. Bryan always took interest in the lives and well-being of his nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend many thanks to the caregivers that attended to Bryan during his illness.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 10:00 to 10:50 AM at the Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Rebecca Wilkins and the Rev. Will Brown. A private interment will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Cancer Association of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, 295 E.
