Inman, SC---James Brian "Slinky" Green, 32, of 565 Edwards Rd. passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014. Brian was born in Spartanburg, SC on October 27, 1981 and was the son of Jean (Harmon) Green and Les Green of Inman, SC. He was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church, a 2000 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and a graduate of Spartanburg Tech. Brian was currently working at Carolina Laser Technology of Gaffney, SC and was also a licensed home builder.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Renee G. Stewart (Chris) of Boiling Springs, SC , Gina G. Brown (Jason) of Riverton, WY. Brian is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian loved his family very much, especially his nephews, Chris and Nick Stewart of Boiling Springs, SC, Alex Brown of Riverton, WY, a niece, Alysa Brown also of Riverton, WY and also his special little friend, Marley Sim of Boiling Springs, SC. He is also survived by his grandmother, Bernice B. Green. He was predeceased by his grandparents E. D. and Ruby P. Harmon and George D. Green.
His family said that Brian loved and cherished his many friends, especially those at the gym. He was also the best son, brother, uncle and friend anyone could ever have !
The visitation will be held Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 3:00 to 4:30 PM in the Lake Bowen Baptist Church sanctuary. A Celebration of Life Service for Brian will follow at 4:30 PM conducted by Rev. Mark Williams. Friends will also take part in the services. Serving as pallbearers will be: Cale Wheeler, Johnny Patel, Tony Mata, Vee Sim, Chris Kakorous, Matthew Fowler, Christopher McIntosh and Josh Williamson. Interment will be in Lake Bowen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
