Brett Darby

Wellford, SC--- Gary (Brett) Darby, 44, of Wellford, SC, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017. Born in Spartanburg, SC on May 31, 1972, he was the son of Patricia (Bailey) Darby, of Inman, and the late Gary Lynn Darby. Brett was currently attending Spartanburg Commnity College and was a machinist for Specialty Products in Greenville, SC.

In addition to his mother, Patricia he is also survived by a sister, Laura Darby Dobbins of Chesnee, SC; two nephews, Andrew Dobbins (Erin) of Spartanburg, SC and Jonathan Dobbins (Amber) of Chesnee, SC; one niece, Rebecca Elizabeth Dobbins of Inman, SC; one great niece, Rylie Davis of Spartanburg, SC; one great nephew, Robby Davis of Spartanburg, SC; two aunts, Connie Rodgers (Bob) of Spartanburg, SC and Barbara William of Wellford, SC along with many cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC, at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2017 with Rev. Terry Fleming officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside. The family is at the home of his mother, 290 Riveroak Dr., Inman, SC.
